BARBERSNO1 is one of the UK’s fastest growing and most popular barber chains. Within the explosive barbering industry there has been tremendous demand for quality barbers, as a result we decided the timing was right for the launch of BARBERSNO1 Academy (Est 2018).

Our Academy training facility is designed specifically to replicate a live store working environment whilst providing a modern and bespoke training experience. Our courses are designed, developed and delivered by the BarbersNo1 Academy team consisting of talented leading industry professionals with a wealth of experience. We have TWO BarbersNo1 academies within Merseyside.

• BarbersNo1 St Helens Academy (WA10 1NW)
• BarbersNo1 Kirkby Academy (L32 8RD)

• Our full time course = 9 WEEKS – Monday to Friday – 10am-3pm 
• Our evening course = 24 WEEKS – 2 x evenings a week – 5-10pm
• Our weekend course = 24 WEEKS -Saturday & Sunday – 9am-4pm

You can qualify for our FUNDED Level 2 barbering course, if you are under this criteria…

• You are 19 or over
• You live within Merseyside
• You receive universal credit or you earn under £31,000 per annum

Everyone is eligible for our PRIVATE courses.
Our private courses are £2500 per course, this includes…

• Your VTCT NVQ qualification
• A student barbering kit
• A BarbersNo1 t-shirt

Here at BARBERSNO1, we pride ourselves on putting our students career paths first, not only do we offer an outstanding Ofsted rating academy, we also offer job opportunities to our students once they have completed our course. We offer every student the opportunity to experience work placement every Friday on their course, within any 12 of our BarbersNo1 stores.

We also offer a FULL 2 weeks work placement, at the end of every course, we find this a very important chance for our students to seek employment with ourselves. We have a 50-60% success rate of taking our students on full time.
